Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the My Class Card app and website (together, the "Service"), operated by My Class Card. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Who Can Use the Service
The Service is intended for use by school staff (teachers, principals, assistant principals, counselors, nurses, and coaches) to create and manage a digital staff card, and by parents and guardians browsing the public staff directory. The Service is free for parents and does not require an account to browse.
Accounts
School staff must create an account with a valid email address to build and manage a staff card. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Subscriptions and Billing
- Staff accounts require a paid subscription to unlock the Staff Card editor: $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is charged to your payment method through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase system, or directly via our payment processor (Stripe), depending on how you subscribed.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store account settings, or by contacting us at support@myclasscard.com.
- Except as required by law or by Apple's or Google's refund policies, payments are non-refundable for the remaining portion of a billing period.
- Discount codes and promotional pricing, where offered, apply only under the specific terms stated at the time of the offer.
Referral Program
Staff members may share a personal referral code. Referral payouts, where applicable, are issued at our discretion based on the terms communicated to participants at the time, and require completing our payout partner's (Stripe Connect) identity verification process before funds can be received.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and photos you add to your staff card. By publishing a staff card, you grant us a license to display that information publicly within the app to parents browsing your school district, for as long as your account remains active.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to post false, misleading, harassing, or inappropriate content, or to impersonate another person or institution. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your account at any time from the Account screen within the app. This removes your staff card, subscription record, and associated data from our systems.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Class Card shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
